Mega-churches, eh? Who needs 'em.

I've been increasingly worried about the tactics of mega-churches and a lot of smaller churches that have lost themselves in "trying to adapt and/or remain relevant." I totally believe in creativity in the Church and the fact that we should engage in culture. But alas, when someone says that the church should look like a mall, we know who's won that Jacobean struggle.

Do not buy the lie that, "We succeed because we get the job done. End of story."

For another, sideways, perspective on this strong-arm tactics of some church planters, click here.

  1. Ahhh..Megachurches. As we've learned from the fast food circuit, anything supersized is disasterous to our health.
