The Loop of Wingnut Racism

Ask someone how she can justify a war that displaced millions upon millions of citizens for no fault of their own - under the guise that we are there to liberate them. How can we be okay with a war that cost at least a trillion dollars and killed perhaps a million civilians by some estimates.

Yes, some bad apple soldiers may have killed children and women and such and all that.

She answers that they probably would have killed us first. They had the capabilities, etc. They must have moved the weapons of mass destruction and etcetera. Yeah, that's what happened. 

Why would you assume that? Even if the leaders were that foolhardy to attack the US, why hurt so many civilians in the process? They did not ask for Saddam to represent them.

But they're Muslims, she protests. And Muslims hate us and will kill us at every first chance.

What? Do you have any idea how racist this all is? You accuse Muslims (who are almost always dark-skinned people) of being prone to violence and stupidity. You say they follow this tract because their holy writings tell them too, despite the fact that most Muslim clerics would say that those verses don't apply. Just like the book of Joshua doesn't apply, nor does most of Leviticus. Just as we can't deny that there are passages that call for genocide or capital punishment in those books that we have to ignore, they would say the same for those scriptures that call for the death of "infidels."

How do you know that Muslims don't believe that way?

Because I talk to Muslims and I read Muslim literature.

You (Ain't Neva') Lie!

I stand and scream with my home state US representative, Joe "You Lie!" Walsh. It is high time that we nasty liberals and so-called "fact"-so-called "-finders" stop blaming our economic woes on the banks and place it where it belongs: on the poor and laborers who don't know how the economic system is rigged against them.

We should stop blaming the financial institutions for leveraging purchasing power within the halls of Congress to get their way and deregulate themselves so that they are without accountability. After all, as Walsh notes, that was the work of "your Congress." And he should know, as he is exactly the kind of congressperson who would work towards that goal.

We should also stop blaming the banks for passing on dirty, unstable bonds to themselves while rating them AAA. Because the banks themselves gave the highest possible credit ratings to their banks' own faulty loans, which only the banks knew not to do, since the banks shut down all effective regulation overseeing the banks. But you can't blame the banks for that. After all, they were just trying to make a quick, easy (trillion) buck($), and it's un-American to find fault in that! Who do you think you are, anyway!?!

We should also stop trying to blame the banks for betting against themselves. If America is a casino, the banks are the house. Nevermind that the risk of the current economic system that makes it operate like a casino was also made possible by the banks...

And please, stop blaming the banks for the housing crisis in the first place. After all, they were forced into making all those trillions by tapping into an untapped market back when they forced Congress to make it easier for them to tap into that untapped market. You can't blame them for forcing the crash on us! As Walsh so eloquently points out, we should blame poor minorities and struggling working class people for wanting to live in homes. His point being that most people should be content living in a sidecar or in a four-walled box.

Just ask his kids.

Lastly, I believe we should stop finding fault with Rep. Walsh's homicidal outbursts of venom and rage. After all, he wouldn't feel such an urge to interrupt constituents and presidents if they wouldn't bother him with pesky "facts."

Rush to Judgment

I can see why this guy is big stuff on the religious right's calendar. Why they listen to his unsubstantiated bigoted rants against The Gays, the Intilekts, Women, and that Magic Negro.

Rush Limbaugh is going to enter into his FOURTH marriage! Isn't that Teh Awesome??

This guy loves heterosexual marriage so much that he's doing it again and again. That's three more times than the man we all want to fail, right, Rushie? You're four times as dedicated to straight marriage than that ManChild in Chief, as you like to call him.

In addition - and this is what makes him such a Great AMERICAN - Rush is also a lover of freedom, which is why he doesn't stay with those marriages. Can't keep him cooped up; ya can't keep a good man down.

So I ask, what's wrong with the rest of us? We should be on HIS level!
