  2. i've only heard of dave barnes recently. i don't think he'll have such a prominent role in my top ten in the future, but he's alright.

  4. gnarls barkley is one of those rare finds that treats all music as music. or at least pop music.

    one thing i could say about this soul/rock collabo w/ a hip-hop backbone is that they like hair-metal bands.

    not that you do (and i sure don't), but that is a testament to their love of all sorts of pop music.
